Customised Photo Matts

Ahoy there, it's been a few weeks eh. I’ve been super busy balancing everything, I’ve neglected the blog.

I've been running a sale in my shop, still running actually. You can get 20% off of your order of $25.00 or more. And it's done really well. Thank everyone for their support, I’ve had a blast.

One thing I love to offer in my shop, is customised photo matts, that are framing my prints. No two photo matts will be the same. This gives the person some original art for a fraction of the cost. And it allows me to creatively add to my existing prints.

The original inspiration for custom matts came from the many Art shows I’ve visited over the years. It's a popular way to gift someone some original art, without breaking the budget. Many years later, I would be reminded of this and this time I decided to try it for myself. And I love the results.

Sometimes I create something I don't want to sell. Sometimes my ideas work so well with the print, I get the artist satisfaction feeling real good.

Like this one for instance. I love the city background, it absolutely fits the dj aesthetic of the print. I don't know how I'll incorporate the two again in the future, but it'll happen. I'm so inspired by this.

Every day I’m greatful. Every time I get an order in my shop, it further inspires the next art. I love taking piles of your orders to the post office, I go once a week, it gives the right amount of time to get everything else done in between. Especially when I haven't been feeling the best.

Ok one more, I loved how this one turned out. Absolutely love the asteroid debris field, and using the colors purple, yellow and orange to color the asteroids is chef’s kiss.
