Painting on an Acoustic guitar

Very awesome commission from a local client who found me at Art on the Street. I painted a portrait of their recently passed friend(rip), along with some cribbage and football items which were their favorites. Honored to get to work with people on things that mean so much to them.

Just some progress shots, I started off black and white, and added some beige for slight color. The hands were changed at the last minute. It was slightly tricky to get the hang of painting the smooth guitar surface, even when sanded. I had so much fun, I hope to paint another guitar one day.
