Punk Rock Gives Back ornaments

PUNK ROCK GIVES BACK (PRGB)

is an IRS registered 501(C)3 Charity. Punk rock culture is at the heart of this charity.

“We believe that there are some things in our world that are messed up. Together we can do our part to make it better! Do you have a passion to make your world a better place? Let’s do it! We are here help navigate the government regulations to allow you and your favorite charity do their best work!”

PRGB mailed me four canvasses to paint into ornaments. The ornaments would be auctioned off with the proceeds going to our chosen charity (ies).

Due to the shipping delay & living in Canada, the canvasses showed up a little late to be ready for this year's auction going on right now.

Good news is they will have another one of these auctions going on next year due to the popularity of this year's auction. So mine will be all complete and ready, I’m mailing them back to the PRGB in a couple of weeks.

Going to document the creation here, so they're ready for viewing when they go up for auction.

I'm adding the spikes and studs to these like I had them on my large paintings last year. Also adding obscene amounts of glitter because, it packs such a visual punch.

Santa's got cake, start of the fancy pants glitter application.

I won't share the final photos…yet. I think some bit of surprise should be left, there is many months before they can be auctioned off.

I will share the work in progress for the last two, in another post.

Thrilled to be doing this for PRGB ! Hope to do more work for and with PRGB and the Punk Rock Museum.
