It's like 90 percent done, and he wouldn't pose with it unless bribed with bacon. My heart soars because he has such a strong personality, you can't force him to do anything he doesn't want to. Not even at 15, he worn pose for free lol.

Also the experience of painting from life vs painting from a still photograph shows the difference between coat color perception and what not. Ronon in real life is very tricolor still, but on camera photos he looks very grey and white. Lighting always plays a large part image perception.

Lion-o posed readily with his brother’s portrait. Notice the size difference, I have a real life Garfield and Odie situation here. Yes I’ll be painting him next.

This is the WIP of the memorial portrait commission. The painting that spurred on the grieving guilt ridden art of mine.

The recipient of the painting is very obsessed with all things Ireland, so I'm doing my best to incorporate things I know she vibes with. They've suffered a huge loss, I hope this painting brings them some peace.

This kind of extra touch is what Artificial Intelligence won't be able to do. It will always miss the intuitive, emotional reasoning behind why an artist makes its choices. Lack of human input, leads to lifeless, flat looking pieces easily forgotten. unmemorable.

I have to complete this by tomorrow evening, one more update on both pieces, incoming.
